Join us in our effort to advance literacy...
The mission of OLI is to advance literacy through access, advocacy and alliances. This
collaborative effort includes the dynamic work of volunteers, students, staff members,
donors and program partners. Many of OLI's services are run entirely by volunteers who
donate tens of thousands of dollars in service each year. Some literacy organizations in
Oregon are entirely volunteer run. Your interest in the cause is the first step toward a
more literate Oregon. There are many ways to get involved depending on your interests and abilities.
OLI is always looking for talented volunteers to work on special projects or help around
the office. You can learn important career skills, and plan or lead projects. While
specific volunteer projects change frequently, the opportunities listed below are
representative of the many areas in which volunteers can get involved and help advance
literacy in Oregon.
