Tutor HelpLine

Tutoring can be a demanding volunteer position. In addition to meeting with your student every week, time is also spent preparing to meet with your student. Oregon Literacy would like to help our volunteer tutors spend as much of their commitment to instructing their student, and less time preparing to instruct. We've amassed a wealth of FREE resources in our HelpCenter; from lesson plans to health literacy workbooks, the HelpLine can be your first stop for tutoring materials.

Visit our online HelpCenter to search for tutoring materials that will help your student achieve any variety of learning goals.

You may also contact the Tutor HelpLine in any of the following ways:

When you contact us, a volunteer will work with you to determine which resources best match your needs. If the HelpCenter doesn't have the materials you desire, they will research them for you. The resources are then mailed directly to you, free of charge. We just ask that you fill out a simple questionnaire to improve the usefulness of our HelpCenter for all tutors.
