How to Donate Money
Support from individuals is crucial to Oregon Literacy's growth.
We have a number of options for our donors.

Check or Cash
OLI always accepts direct donations. Checks can be mailed or delivered to our office at 813 SW Alder Ave. Ste 450, Portland OR 97205 Attn: Executive Director. For cash donations, please do not use mail. Drop by our office. We'd love to see you.
Payroll Deduction
Oregon Literacy is member agency of United Way and the Combined Federal Campaign. If your employer holds an annual appeal, you can designate your gift directly to Oregon Literacy. The process varies in different parts of the state, contact OLI if you have questions. In some cases, your employer will match your gift up to 100%, increasing your gift's impact.
Savings or Checking Account Direct Deduction
OLI is in the process of setting up a program that will deduct your donations on a monthly or quarterly basis directly from your checking or savings account. Gifts of Stock
You may transfer gifts of stock directly from your brokerage account to an Oregon literacy account. Upon completion of transfer, these stocks are sold immediately and used to support our programs. To transfer electronically, call or write your broker with the amount of stock you would like to transfer, and this contact information: Mr. Michael L. Bequests and memorials
OLI appreciates the generosity of past volunteers and donors who have remembered OLI through their estates, and families who have asked that memorials be donated to charity. We can assist in planning by providing any necessary 501(c)(3) or financial paperwork, and by providing memorial cards or other appropriate recognition.
On-line
OLI is listed with numerous programs that allow donors to make on-line designations to their charity of choice. The program with the lowest administrative fee is: www.networkforgood.org Less than 2% of the total gift covers credit card fees.
