FEATURED PARTNER
United Parcel Service (UPS) - www.ups.com/
Our featured corporate partner, UPS (the world's largest package delivery company and a leading global provider of specialized transportation and logistics services manage the flow of goods, funds, and information in more than 200 countries and territories worldwide) work with us in a variety of ways. Importantly, they have granted us significant dollars that will go directly towards funding both tutor and student services in the literacy arena.

Starbucks - www.starbucks.com
Starbucks (purveyors of the finest coffee in the world) and it's employees contribute to our Read Across Oregon event and, starting in late 2004, our holiday gift-wrapping efforts. Additionally, they have allowed us to apply for grants, as well as donated coffee-oriented items to our event(s).

Borders - www.borders.com
Borders (providers of books, music, movies, and other entertainment and informational products and services) works with OLI by providing inventory for our bookstore, which gives tutors and students the ability and access to both low-cost and no-cost learning materials. They have also worked with us at events and made book donations when possible.

Verizon - www.verizon.com
Verizon (one of the world's leading providers of communications services) has worked with OLI on events, grants and donations. Importantly, they offer customers the ability to "check into literacy" on their bill, which gives $1 per to literacy programs and services.

New Seasons Market - www.newseasonsmarket.com
New Seasons (easy and fun to shop, locally owned and operated, with a true commitment to its community and to promoting sustainable agriculture) - partners with OLI by providing a revenue stream for us via lunch "booths" placed outside of their locations throughout the Portland area. In exchange for staffing, OLI receives 100% of the profits from each "booth" for that period of time.

Portland Air Cargo Association [PACA]
PACA (members based mainly at Portland International Airport) annually partners with OLI for a holiday auction. The event doubles as an OLI fundraiser, while simultaneously being a celebration of the past calendar year for PACA members.

Rose City Romance Writers - www.rosecityromancewriters.com
RCRW (educates, supports, and mentors published and unpublished members in the profession of romance writing) annually partners with OLI for a fundraising luncheon. Utilizing an auction approach, both RCRW and OLI profit in addition to having a great afternoon.

Needmore Designs - www.needmoredesigns.com
Needmore Designs (creating graphic art and interactive designs that are unique, useful and memorable) generously hosts OLI's website at no charge. In addition to this, they have been very helpful with assorted technology questions.

Envada - www.envada.com
Envada (providers of the very best Internet access services available at the lowest possible cost) is dedicated to giving as much as they can back to our community. Envada will donate $4.00 each month for every active account that selects OLI as their "charity of choice".
