Scrabble Tournament - UPDATED
The OLI Semi-annual Scrabble Tournament is upon us! We invite you to partake in this extremely fun event with other like-minded scrabble aficionados. This lightly competitive afternoon is often a sell-out, so please do register early. The tournament takes place on Sunday, May 18th - 12 Noon until 5pm at the Ringler's Pub in Portland. Cost: $25 per individual player/ $50 per team (2 players). Win some great prizes, meet new people, show off your vocabulary and support literacy. Please see the Scrabble page for more information.
Central Oregon Scrabble® Tournament

Holiday Gift Wrapping
Each year, throughout the month of December, Oregon Literacy volunteers staff tables in area bookstores and gift wrap holiday presents for busy shoppers.

Read Across Oregon
The 6th annual Read Across Oregon (RAO) read-a-thon takes place in March of 2008. Individuals, schools and businesses alike are encouraged to sign up and participate by reading as much as they can while raising money and support for Oregon Literacy's valuable programs and services.

6th Annual Chalk it Up
This year's event will be at Pioneer Courthouse Square on August 9th from 10:00am to 4:00pm. Chalk It Up is an annual literacy awareness event put on by OLI.
