Community Connection developed as a partnership between Oregon Literacy, Inc. (OLI), Portland State University (PSU), and the Portland Oregon District of US Citizenship and Immigration Services (CIS) and the local Office of Citizenship (CIS-OOC).

Commumity Connections is a networking opportunity for organizations and individuals in Oreogn and S.W. Washington onthe following issues:

* Literacy

* English as a Second Language (ESL)

* Citizenship

* Civics

The Community Connections network is dedicated to creating community around these issues by providing a forum to:

* Discuss ideas, programs, and funding opportunities

* Describe innovative practices

* Share resources

* Ask questions

* Post upcoming workshops, trainings, and development opportunities
